I was born in Kent and moved to Wiltshire in my teens. I have danced since the age of 3 and this is an interest I continue to pursue today, currently training as a teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance alongside my Pilates teaching. I have also acted in various TV commercials and TV dramas.

After leaving university with a BA (hons), I pursued my interest in performing by dancing and singing professionally in pantomimes, Disneyland Paris parades, and "The Spirit of Irishdance" in the Canary Islands. During this time I also ran various dance and fitness classes and workshops with both adults and children.

In 2004 I moved to Maidenhead to be with my husband, and I continued to teach childrens dance workshops and adult dance and aerobics classes, whilst still dancing professionally.

During a professional dance show I injured my back, and it was at this stage I was introduced to Pilates by my physiotherapist. After using Pilates exercises to aid my recovery, I decided to teach Pilates in order to pass on my knowledge and help others benefit from the exercises. I studied with Future Fit to gain my Pilates qualification (REPs level 3) over a period of 2 years. I then progressed on to additional courses, including equipment in mat classes, osteoperosis, children's fitness and pre&post natal Pilates with Body Control. In 2017 I qualified to teach older adults (aged 65 and over).

I had boy/girl twins in 2012 and now teach Pilates matwork classes in Maidenhead and Charvil and one-to-one sessions in Charvil. I hope you will contact me soon to try Pilates for yourself and see how it can help you and your body.
